The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday dominated the
Indomitable Lions of Cameroun 4-0 without reply from the Cameroon players.
The Super Eagles solidified their position at the
top of Group B in the 2018 World Cup African qualifiers by securing a nine
point winning, while the Cameroon
national football team has two points from three matches.
The match took place
at the Godswill Akpabio stadium. Nigeria had a nice start when Ighalo made a goal after receiving a fine pass from the China-based
forwarder, Mikel Obi. However he got a yellow card for taking off his jersey
while celebrating.
Mikel made the second goal in the 42nd minutes
when he latched onto a Victor Moses corner.
Victor Moses made a fine finish into the box in the
eleven minutes of second half. Moses
Simon was there to assist me.
Replacing the injured Ighalo, Iheanacho
made it 4-0 when he nodded pass goalkeeper Fabrice Ondo from Ogenyi Onasi
assist in 77th minute.
There will be a return match on Monday.
